Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) is the primary international airport of the National Capital Region of Delhi. It is named after Indira Gandhi, the former Prime Minister of India. IGI is situated in Palam. The airport's IATA code is “DEL” 

Indira Gandhi International Airport at present has two active passenger terminals:

Terminal 1: Terminal 1 caters to only domestic arrival and departures. Terminal 1 is further split in 2 areas: Terminal 1D for departures and Terminal 1C for arrivals

Terminal 3 (T3): Terminal 3 caters to domestic as well as international passengers. Reportedly T3 is the 24th largest building in the world and 8th largest passenger terminal in the world
